School Claims Eco Schools Award
We are delighted to announce that our school is now an Eco-School after our inspection during the summer term. Well Done Everyone! A special mention must go to the Eco Club, Miss McCallion and Miss O'Doherty who co-ordinated the project in our school.
Miss O'Doherty and the Eco Club accept the Green Flag Award and Father Dolan is pictured with Miss McCallion and Miss O'Doherty as he plants an apple tree to mark the Green Flag Award.
Primary 2 and 3 show off their minibeast corner with Primary 7 who helped them and the lovely flower boxes that they planted.
Primary 4/5 created a vegetable patch in school and Primary 6 have created a greenhouse area.
Mrs. Crossen thanks Alan Mulholland, Strain Engineering for the flagpole he made for the school.
